Duterte Times is an alternative online news. Conceived in response to events around the Philippine 2016 national and local elections. President elect Rodrigo Roa Duterte proceeded with his boycott of Philippine media. All Presidential media communications will only be through the People’s Television Network, Inc. (PTNI). When asked, how long will the boycott last, the President elect answered, “Until the end of my term.”

This is a personal site with no affiliation with other news sources in the Philippines or outside the country. The site aims to provide Filipino online citizens an alternative source of news and information.
